Description

We have a new little harvest at Abington Park on Tuesday 14 January 9.30. Meet at corner of the angler's pond is where the information sign is, ref what 3 words ///traded.grant.enable . We will be helping the park ranger digging up small saplings that would otherwise be trimmed by the maintenance team.

Please message me if you want to come along.

Bring a spade and wear suitable footwear.

Practical

Dress warmly. There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing! This means, among other things, a good raincoat and waterproof shoes. If you have garden tools, such as a spade, shovel or pruning shears, it is always nice if you want to take them with you. Also make sure you have a thermos and something to eat.

Location: The meeting is at Abington Park, Northampton.

At this site we expect to harvest the following species:

Alder (black), Field Maple, Hawthorn, Norway Maple

- There are no toilets available

- There's no shelter

Park on the road on Park Road South and walk to the harvest area
